Online Noorani Qaida Classes for Kids
Children from age 3 or 4 learn with short, playful lessons, colorful letter drills and tutors trained to keep young learners focused and confident.
The first step to reading the Quran is learning its letters the right way. Our tutors teach Noorani Qaida live and one-on-one, so every sound is heard, every slip is corrected, and your child or you move forward only when each lesson is truly solid.
Noorani Qaida is a simple primer that has taught generations of Muslims to read Arabic. It starts with single letters, then joins them, adds vowel marks, and slowly builds up to full Quranic words with basic Tajweed. By the last page, a student who could not read a single Arabic letter is reading short verses on their own.
The book is short, but how it is taught makes all the difference. In our noorani qaida classes, a qualified tutor listens to every letter and fixes pronunciation on the spot. Tawhid Academy tutors are native Arabic speakers who hold Ijazah in Quran recitation, so the sounds your family learns are the sounds of the Quran itself.
"Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah will have a reward, and that reward is multiplied by ten."
Jami at-Tirmidhi 2910Many parents in the US tell us the same story. The nearest Masjid class is a long drive away, weekend school only meets once a week, and their child forgets half the letters between sessions. Adults face a different problem: they feel embarrassed starting from the alphabet in a group.
Live online lessons solve both. Classes happen at home, three to five times a week, at a time that fits school, work and Salah. And because every session is private, an adult beginner can learn at their own pace without anyone watching.
No prior Arabic is needed. Your tutor starts from wherever you are, whether that is the very first letter or a half-finished Qaida from years ago.
Children from age 3 or 4 learn with short, playful lessons, colorful letter drills and tutors trained to keep young learners focused and confident.
Busy professionals and parents learn privately in early morning, evening or weekend slots. Adults who practice daily often finish in 2 to 3 months.
Patient tutors who have taught many reverts help you read your first Arabic words with confidence, starting with the letters you need for Salah.
Learn alongside your child on the Family plan. Each of you gets your own lessons, and you can help each other practice between classes.

Young children learn best in short bursts with lots of encouragement. Our noorani qaida course for kids keeps lessons to 30 or 40 minutes and moves at your child's pace. A tutor who specializes in children uses repetition, simple games and plenty of praise so letters stick without pressure.
Most children aged 4 to 8 complete the Qaida in 3 to 5 months with three or four classes a week. That is often faster than a weekend school, simply because lessons happen more often and every minute is one-on-one.
Parents stay in the loop the whole way. After each class you get a short written note: what was covered, what went well, and exactly what to practice before the next lesson.
Pronunciation habits form in the first few weeks. That is why we only hire tutors who can model every sound perfectly.
Every tutor speaks Arabic natively, so heavy and light letters, throat sounds and subtle differences come naturally to them.
Our tutors hold Ijazah in Quran recitation, and their Makharij and Tajweed have been assessed by a senior scholar.
Some tutors specialize in early learners and know how to keep a five-year-old engaged for a full lesson.
Sisters and girls can learn with a qualified female tutor who follows the same curriculum and standards.
Plenty of families download a free Noorani Qaida PDF and try to learn at home. The PDF is a great practice book, and our students use the same pages in class. The problem is what a PDF cannot do.
Every student is different, and nobody is pushed ahead before they are ready. These ranges show what most of our students experience.
